The Mapping Actions for Food Security and Nutrition (MAFSAN) is a web platform to help stakeholders at country, regional and global levels to share information about their investments in food and nutrition security.

The web platform is a decision-support tool that allows users to track and map ongoing actions in order to better program and coordinate their response to food and nutrition insecurity. The tool may help them to identify gaps and overlaps, prioritize resource allocation, harmonize actions, and draw lessons for future policy and programme development.

Countries and regional organizations using this platform have their own section where they can easily manage their data entry process and generate standard or customized queries and reports.

Following the pilot phase, FAO is presently supporting the roll-out of the web platform in new countries and regions in partnership with other agencies, such as Development Gateway  and the REACH initiative.
